What began as a small assembly of performers, The Moonlight Dolls has evolved into a full production that has earned recognition throughout the city of Houston as a center of artistry & classic entertainment. The costumes are fabulous. Billed as the first silent theatre in Houston built in 1912, Prohibition’s new theatre is a return to its origins. This space is a combination of old and new. Check out the serpentine staircase, art deco carpet, semi-private mezzanine, and a grand stage.
The Bar is Open!
Even though they require a reservation to dine, the bar is open. Feel free to walk in and enjoy a pre-theater cocktail. If an Irish coffee is more your speed, they can whip one of those up to. There is no dress code to enjoy the delights of the Jazz Age joint.
